Requirements regarding the application for a new Chapter

1. A group of six or more IAHC members
2. A petition for a Chapter Charter must be submitted to the IAHC Board.

Establishment of the Chapter Charter

1. Along with the petition for a new Chapter, a Chapter Charter must be submitted.
2. The chapter Charter can be based on IAHC's official Charter and must include the following information:

1. The composition of the board members as well as their powers (roles)
2. The rules and regulations of the new Chapter
3. The financial affairs of the new Chapter

Requirements of the new Chapter

1. The new chapter must fulfill the purposes of the IAHC on the local level of participating localities.
2. The structure and functions of the Chapters must be consistent with the bylaws, policies, and procedures of the IAHC.
3. An annual report of the chapter activities should be submitted to the Board by December 31st of each calendar year.
